6 dpiui
Overall I have no symptoms - I surely don't feel any different. I know it's too early though.
That's all I've got today.

5 dpiui
Honestly, this month I have hope. I had hope before, don't get me wrong. But this month I HOPE and feel its our month for a positive result. I know I only had one follicle, but there is a chance. Timing wise, I feel like we were spot on. Counts were good - 525 million pre wash and 235 million post wash - 54% overall. So I think there is hope.
If for some reason its not our month, then we'll have to schedule a consult with the Dr. to see what our next steps are. I think most likely IUI with injections and then possibly IVF. IVF is last resort because frankly we don't have the money right now for that.
In other news, the adoption of my kids was final on Friday - Brian is officially their dad and I couldn't be happier!
I'll keep posting until I get my positive this month. : )
Please pray.

CD 11, Ultrasound & HCG Shot
They gave me the HCG shot and tomorrow is the IUI in the afternoon. Brian goes in at 1:00 pm and I got in at 2:30 pm.
I took an OPK test before the doctors just to see if it was positive - it wasn't positive, but it was getting darker. So I imagine that tomorrow it would have turned positive. I just went ahead and took the shot and will pray for the best.
I hope and pray that this is our month. Emotionally and financially this is very draining.
If anyone is reading this, please pray.

CD 5
I've had 2 unsuccessful IUI's using Femara. This is month is going to be my 3rd IUI with Femara. After the 3rd failed IUI we will have to have another consult with the fertility specialist to see what our next steps are. I am thinking probably IUI with injectables or possibly even IVF. I pray that we won't get to either of those steps - maybe the 3rd times the charm!
My cycles range from 26 to 28 days. I usually O early - around day 11 - so my luteal phase seems to be fine. I take Progesterone (400 mg) once a day starting 2 dpiui.
Currently, I am on CD5. I take Femara days 3-7. I have an appointment on the 8th of July (CD 11) for an ultrasound. I am thinking they'll probably give me the HCG shot on that day too if my follicles look ready. Then most likely the IUI on the 9th of July (CD 12).
We really need and want this to be our month. We both have children so we know we can have children - just hoping we can have one together. So frustrating, but I am trying to be positive.
If anyone is reading this - please pray.

School's out! (almost)
Accounting II - A!
Intro to Business - A!
Elementary Statistics - B! (which is like an A for that class!)
Elementary Statistics was by far the hardest! I am so glad to be done with that class!
I am taking two classes this summer - Music (elective) and Psychology. Should be interesting.
I just hope that I am done by next Summer! Then I'll have student loans to look forward to! YAY!! (sarcasm).

Introduction
"I am a full-time working, school going, wild child rearing, loyal wife whose mission is to learn, live and cope with every day happenings."
My blog title is factual. I am a mamma and I am always on some sort of mission. So, I hope you enjoy reading about the "goings ons" in my humble world.
I love my job. I've worked for my current employer for about three years as a Customer Relationship Manager. At times I stress about work but for the most part it is enjoyable.
I am currently enrolled in school to obtain a degree in Business Management. I hope to graduate by the summer of 2010.
I have two kids who I love more than anything. They are my world and I do my best to provide a wonderful life for them. Alot of my blog will be about them. "K" is my daughter who is eight years old. "C" is my son who is five years old.
I've know my husband for about five years. We've now been married for two years. We've both lived and learned alot in our short lives - but we are learning to appreciate each other more everyday. I love him and can't wait to grow old with him.
That's it in a nutshell. Mostly, this blog is my virtual scrapbook.
Signing off in the words of the most honorable Nancy Grace.
Goodnight Friend.
